Intolerant Liberals

In the words of Christopher Walker, "This guy, is un-f***ing believable!"

I pretty much wrote a lengthy rebuttal to his bogosity.

If you eliminate that last paragraph, it's an astoundingly accurate statement. Replace the final paragraph with "use force to oppose everything that disagrees with me" and... Ta-Da!

Pretty much every generation thinks they've peaked the technology. In reality, we may reach certain plateaus, but never truly the peak. Transportation, for example, was essentially unchanged for thousands of years - until it wasn't.

If he can get enough votes to prevent either of the idiots from having a majority, about 15%, it should slow down the rate of stupid for a while. Also, it would help if more libertarians ran for Congress - for the same reason - if nobody has a clear majority, dumbass laws are less likely to pass muster.

I found another one.  Any time someone accuses you of being a shill.  Whether it be for NASA, big pharma, Monsanto, the Koch Brothers, or whatever.  If someone is THAT desperate to try and discredit you, it's safe to say they've lost the argument.

Going along with my point from before, even if you are a "shill" (I'm not exactly sure what's meant by that), it doesn't mean you're wrong. Using that as an argument is similar to saying "Travis is wrong because he's a 'triever" (As opposed to a 'mation, I guess). 97/100 it has nothing to do with the discussion at hand.

Also, I would put any argument that attempts to discredit the speaker, rather than the argument itself, onto the "potential instant lose" pile. Even if the speaker IS a lying, troll, shill, SJW feminist doesn't mean that they're argument is invalid (on that specific point, anyway).

I'm fairly certain this isn't already on the list, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

This fallacy comes up when someone "supports" their claim by declaring people are stupid, when in fact this declaration hurts their claim when looked at critically because... (whatever excuse they want to use) <snip>
What do you think?

I agree with everything NOT snipped. :D

To be fair, Dawkins himself never said whether the boy made or did not make a clock. What he said was (essentially), even if he didn't build a clock, from scratch, police involvement was unnecessary.

Also, some of the blame for us "being fooled", if such is the case, is the media's usage of the word "invent" here. The boy didn't "invent" anything. Clocks have existed for hundreds of years now. At best, he crafted a hobby clock, at worst he put an existing clock in a new container. Neither thing is a crime.

I'd also point out that "arbitrary" does not mean "wrong". It simply means there isn't/wasn't a thought out reason behind "thing"/ "decision".

Along the same lines, sometimes people mean different things when they use words (in this case "libertarian"), the reason for pointing this out (for honest debaters anyway) is to agree to a definition of (word) for the purposes of THAT conversation, so you're talking about the same thing.

This is why you two oppose Trump? First of all, if he opposed facts (as such) he Wouldn't  be a billionaire. Secondly, his stance on veterans is much more telling, not in it's content (which is technically correct), but in it's content:

For example:

Mr. Trump is absolutely correct being a prisoner of war does not automatically make you a hero. (For example PVT Wildman may have been asleep on watch...)
It is Lt. Cdr. McCain's behavior AS a POW that makes him a hero. (All evidence indicates he was about to be told to explore "other career paths" before he was captured by the viet cong).

A) What is supposed to be "added" to Windows 7 and/or 8.1?

B) Cortana is a native component of windows 10.

C) If you're using the internet AT  THE FUCK ALL, there is no such thing as "private information".

It wasn't at all.

In fairness though, most of them think they stand for those things. Except when:

1. Someone does something that they think is wrong.
2. Except when it comes to paying for military/law enforcement/gestapo...oops I mean "Homeland Security".
3. Same as 2, except now we're actually doing it, not paying for it.

Posted for fucking truth!  C'mon people! You can't use the money you'd save on a wasted gym membership on a smartphone with GPS so it can track your distance walked/ran/hiked/etc, Calories burned, etc?  Hell, mine came with an app that does that for free!

OK, so some people like walking in the air conditioned gym, instead of the random outside, why is that a problem?

Bernie Sanders: The Vox conversation

Eh, what right-wing people has Bernie been listening to? Because it's not Rush Limbaugh. It's not Fox News. It's not every Republican candidate who's been pandering to their base by promising them a barb-wire electric fence along the border with gun turrets every 100 feet. Open borders has been a left-wing proposal, or at best, a libertarian one.

Mainstream politicians consider the Koch brothers to be libertarians. Also, from their point of view, you look at Rush Limbaugh, and then you look to spaces to the right and you find Shane Killian. That being said, every conservative I've ever heard of is for a closed border. You should see my Facebook with all the "If you crossed the border illegally...(blah blah) posts."

"Fat-Free" Yes, because it's just a bag of glucose/sugar.
"Gluten-Free"  See above.
"Kosher" ...""
"Low-Carb"...it's pure sugar! It's about as far from "low carb" as it gets...
"Non-GMO" So is NaCl, what's your point...
"Sugar-Free"...*headdesk* it's...pure...sugar.  Talk about false advertising.

Not only is it pure sugar, it is by definition sugar. Even in their own product description, they say it's sugar! So, there's no sugar in the sugar?

Also, why are we trying to by 50lbs of not-table-sugar?
