OK so I recently had an experience that has made me think. one of my favorite game series is Zero Escape but apparently the second game iddn't make enough profit to justify a third game which sucks because the series ended on a cliffhanger. I was talking to a friend about it and when I mentioned the series apperently didn't make enough money for a sequel he mentioend it was an issue of the market. which ahs me thinking. I tend to be a par tof a lot of niche fandoms. Things that don't get a lot of consumor or market attention. so what would it mean for somebody like me?

THe same thing happened to Shenmue. If your lucky they might start a kickstarter for the third game like the Shenmue team did.

It's a symptom of a corporatized market. In a free market, there would be all sorts of people trying to make money from the different niches.
