His parents weren't attacked or threatened by Muslims. His parents are Jewish and also had seen the videos VFX had made, and went "Wait, what the hell is this crap?" and stopped him.

It was basically the donations that was the major concern. I knew he'd dig himself into his own grave someday... It was only a matter of time.

Okay, now that he makes such a big deal out of leaving, I actually think that he really will come back.
He just loves the sympathy and the attention he gets out of this.
