I recall one Youtube video in which an anti-porn crusader announced that 80% of the porn on the internet involved depictions of non-consensual sex or rape. First off, what scientific polling method did you use to determine that? Viewing all the porn on the internet is not something you can do in a lifetime or perhaps even several lifetimes, not that some haven't made an admirable attempt at it. Second, is she only viewing porn from Japan, and if so how does she account for the exceptionally low rate of sexual crime compared to the United States and Britain, despite the fact that the country produces rape porn for general consumption? Third, what is this dumb woman talking about exploitation of labor? Porn actors are not forced to be porn actors, they choose to do so, and are paid well for their efforts. Women have not only made careers out of being porn actresses but have actually achieved celebrity for their unique...talents. Is their success somehow illegitimate just because there's sex involved? If so, then Cotton Mather is calling he wants his mores back prude.
