I heard an interview with one of the survivors, who reported that the shooter specifically targeted anyone who cried or called for help. He also said that the survivors all played dead among end beneath the pews, and that when the shooter was walking out the daughter of the Pastor (the Pastor was not present at the time, being busy with some other task at the time) started calling for help, and the shooter went back and murdered her.
I don't think the Bolivar is quite up to Weimar Republic levels of inflation YET (the usual examples are people being paid twice a day and spending it right away because by the end of the day it would be worthless, and a guy being sent his life savings when the bank closed his account due to the balance being too low at 54,000 marks, in a million-mark note, the smallest note in circulation, in an envelope with 4 million marks postage, and it didn't even buy him a cup of coffee at the cafe).
To adapt some other verbiage, "Scientists give up money, fame, power, and the love of beautiful women for their science, through which they hope to gain money, fame, power, and the love of beautiful women."
In practical terms, neither Senators nor Representatives can be impeached. Unlike any other Federal officeholder, both Houses have the authority to discipline their own members, up to and including expulsion from their seat. As Impeachment involves both Houses, it will always be easier and faster to directly expel the member.
