hasn't all the videos bashing 9/11 conspiracy lunacy been done to death?
what else needs to be said?  Unless you're coming up with a new video not debunked yet, or a new angle, i think there's other things you could be smashing the bogons out of...

like EXPELLED for instance!  :)

I'm sure you'll do a great job, but if someone already did a 3hr debunking of LOOSE CHANGE, then they were probably pretty thorough!  :)

I've got an angle I think I want to do, that goes beyond a simple debunking, but I don't know if I can pull it off or not.

True. But even people who witness these things, or could easily research the tons of other places that debunk it... still think it's real. Tons of resources exist, but people still go around thinking it's true.

Also, I think Shane does a very logical, detailed, and comprehensive job in explaining things.

Anyway... There's a LOT of things online that even make me go, "Wait... what?" So, Shane really needs to do this right and cover all grounds. Some examples are:

"All the people saying the same things, in the same manner."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GO9s8nNysWg

"People way too eager and way too composed to explain the situation."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEgHU6pS-tg

"Eye witness reports that reporters are 'disappointed' to hear."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AfTyOyKEEQ

"Reports and people saying there's no plane, then news stations always saying. 'NO, we just saw another plane! It was a plane.' while people say, 'Are you sure? I dont see a plane.' "

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqjKeBS1JwE

Also, this video is a good one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OH21gKbEllM

If you ever do this... Watch out. These are the types of questions and responses you'll get. In fact, everytime I start to research this crap I always find things that even convince ME that there weren't any planes and there was a conspiracy.

That's why I'd love someone like Shane to pool together in one video all of the videos out there, the stuff I linked above, etc.

Okay, if this works, you should be able to embed a YouTube video with the tag:

[yt](string of characters after "watch?v=" in the URL)[/yt]

So, for the above video, this:

[yt]SnKppff5yQ8[/yt]

should result in this:

[yt]SnKppff5yQ8[/yt]

Edit: Yay! It's working!

Awesome, you're the man

now, dog!

Great link. I honestly think you should do this next. Throw in some cap'n awesome clips for humour would be cool too.

Well, bye bye airplane.

You know, I have noticed that 9/11 conspiracy theorists act a lot like Moon hoaxers. They put out a bunch riduculous claims that no one person would have the time to debunk and no matter how many get debunked they are always throwing out more theories. I mean, just look at Loose Change. Since when does the "definitive truth" about a subject have to be updated three times (and yes, four versions of Loose Change have been released).

Besides, you still got to love those ridiculous Loose Change parodies.

At least they're coming up with new stuff. That's more than I can say for the creationists.

That's because creationists think that things that change are wrong by default.

That is because even these crackpot conspiracy theories are more plausible than creationism. Although not by much
